Description	1-Phenyl-2-propanone-1-[13C] is intended for use as an internal standard for Phenylacetone. Phenylacetone is the deamination product of amphetamine metabolism and has been used as a precursor in the illicit synthesis of methamphetamine and amphetamine. 1-Phenyl-2-propanone-1-[13C] can be also used as a starting material for synthesis of 13C labelled methamphetamine and amphetamine.
