Description	11-Deoxycorticosterone-2,3,4-[13C3] is intended for use as an internal standard for 11-Deoxycorticosterone. 11-Deoxycorticosterone is also an endogenous mineralocorticoid synthesized in the zona fasciculata and zona glomerulosa of the adrenal gland. It is a metabolite of progesterone and precursor to aldosterone.
