Description	Cefazolin is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It may also be used before and during certain surgeries to help prevent infection. Cefazolin is a semisynthetic cephalosporin analog which attains high serum levels and is excreted quickly via the urine. Cefazolin-13C2,15N is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of cefazolin by GC- or LC-MS.
