Description	Isometronidazole-[d4] Hydrochloride is the labelled derivative of Isometronidazole. Isometronidazole is an impurity of Metronidazole, a chemotherapeutic agent that is used as a first line defense against Clostridium difficile. Isometronidazole is also a hypoxic cell sensitizer in humans and mice.
