Description	N-Acetyl-D-neuraminic acid-[4,5,6,7,8,9-13C6] is a 13C labelled analogue of N-Acetylneuraminic acid, which is a nine-carbon, sialic acid Monosaccharide commonly found in glycoproteins on cell membranes. N-Acetylneuraminic acid is also a useful reagent in sequential esterification and acetylation of β-Sialyl phosphite and phosphoramidite.
