Chemical Structure

Description	Phenacetin-ethoxy-[1-13C] is an isotope form of Phenacetin which is a non-opioid analgesic without anti-inflammatory properties. It is a pain-relieving and fever-reducing drug and was withdrawn from the Canadian market in June 1973 due to concerns regarding nephropathy. Phenacetin has been linked to renal papillary necrosis in human beings.
