Chemical Structure

Description	Quinolinic acid-[13C4,15N] is the labelled analogue of Quinolinic acid. Quinolinic acid is an endogenous NMDA agonist and transmitter candidate. It may distinguish between NMDA receptor subtypes. By overactivating NMDA receptors, quinolinic acid produces neurotoxicity, which has been implicated in certain neurodegenerative disorders.
